Michael completed a Bachelor of Business at the University of Southern Queensland and is a Fellow Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia and the Taxation Institute of Australia. He is also a Registered Company Auditor. Since joining elliotts in 1976, Michael has always focused on providing a comprehensive service and it is Michael’s distinctive approach that contributes to the success of his clients. He takes the time to really get to know his clients, determining their goals and objectives and developing proactive strategies that not only empower them in their own business, but exceed their expectations of an accounting advisor. Michael has been working with Pharmacies to improve many different areas of their business. With extensive experience in helping his clients purchase/sell a pharmacy, his focus is on 4 key areas - conducting a Due Diligence to make sure the pharmacy is valued correctly, getting the best lending facility for each clients situation, implementing a partnership agreement, if necessary, and establishing the correct structure to save his clients tax and protect their assets. Growing up Michael has fond memories of his father and the brewery he worked at. Because of these memories, Michael has also chosen to specialise in helping Hotels, Pubs and Clubs Australia wide. Michael is committed to ensuring elliotts deliver a complete suite of financial services that encompass all accounting, audit, income tax, financial planning, insurance and finance requirements. He is currently a partner withing the business services and audit divisions of the business. Michael participated in the Ride to Conquer Cancer, which was a two day cycling journey throughout Queensland's scenic countryside, raising money for the Queensland Institute of Medical Research. |
